Peaceful oasis with wonderful hosts
"Riad Boujloud is a beautiful and peaceful oasis in the old medina of Fes. The riad and rooms are charmingly decorated and spotlessly clean. Vincent, Christopher and Fatima were extremely helpul and friendly hosts, with wonderful suggestions for eating, shopping, sightseeing etc. They arranged a driver for a day trip to the ancient Roman ruin at Volubilis( a fantastic experience not to be missed!), and also our airport transfer on arrival, and departure to train station. They also went to great trouble to find and book accomodation for us in Rabat and El Jadida. Meeting these lovely people (and their darling cat) was a highlight of our visit to Morocco. I would highly recommend Riad Boujloud for a memorable visit to Fes."

"we spent 3 days in Fes and we had the great chance to stay at Riad Boujloud. Vincent and Christophe are the greatest Host ever, they gave us lots of suggestions for smart shopping and smart eating. they were even able to help us for the first night in fes to find a place where to stay since we had made a wrong reservation and we arrived one day earlier than they exepected.
Rooms are nice, clean and in very sophisticated marroccan style, as the rest of the Riad. Breakfast is AMAZING with Fatima preparing lots of delicious things. we had also the chance to have dinner there, and experience the excellent skills of Fatima. we had there the BEST FOOD IN MOROCCO. nothing you could eat in the restaurants, real food and healthy.
the position is great, easy to find and we didnt' even get lost thanks to Vincent and Christphe's suggestion, which is quite a miracle in Fes."

Comfortable and peaceful haven within the medina of Fes
"We had the opportunity to stay at the Riad Boujloud for 3 nights in November of 2009, and highly recommend it for travelers to the city. Our email communication with the owners, Vincente and Christopher, was flawless, and we were cheerfully greeted (and served the best mint tea I had in all of Morocco) by their caretaker Fatima upon our evening arrival. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfasts included absolutely delicious. Free wifi was a great bonus, and we had the opportunity to have a delicious dinner one evening at the riad as well. The environment in the courtyard and rooftop terrace was peaceful and relaxing, despite the hustle and bustle of the medina just a few short steps away. The riad is in a wonderful location, with many sites easily accessible. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and Fatima was an absolute gem. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this riad to anyone traveling through the wonderful city of Fes."

Great base for Fez
"This cozy riad coupled with Vincent and Cristophe's hospitality made for a very enjoyable stay. Our room was spacious and clean, the ensuite was also very clean. Fatima prepared greats breakfasts which we enjoyed despite battling flies who were just as keen on our food as we were (heat= flies in maroc). Definitely a recommended riad as its location is ideal, away from the food market and busy main thoroughfare, but yet still close enough to restaurants and the Bab Boujoud.
Book early if you dont want to miss out as this is very popular..deservedly so."

A perfect place to stay in Fes
"We stayed here for 4 nights in October and had a great time. The owners Vincent and Christophe were fabulous hosts and gave us lots of useful information. The Riad is beautiful and spotless and the foof terrace is the perfect place to have breakfast and relax. Fatima and Mafid ,who are also part of the team were lovely. We ate our evening meal here twice, the food was great and the best meals we had in Fes. Don't stay anywhere else!!"

A magical place
"We stayed here for three nights in September and this was the best accomodation we had on our 4 weeks of adventures through Spain, Morocco and Portugal. A wonderful hideen gem right in the Medina. Our hosts Christophe, Vincent and Fatima were attentive to all our needs. They also have the best taxi driver, Mafid, who is a true asset to their outstanding hospitality and whose company we thoroughly enjoyed on a private day trip. Entering through an unmarked iron door along a short passage and through another iron door you suddenly enter a magical world of mosaic tiles, friezes, birds singing and the smell of fresh cedar in your room and you are far away from the bustle of the Medina. Breakfast on the roof top terrace was excellent with fresh breads, fruit and juice, just a great way to start the day and in the evening you can watch the sun going down and illuminating the Royal Tombs on the hilltops, a great spot for a photograph . If you are staying in Fes this is the place to stay."

"The riad is very close to Bab Bou Jeloud - one of the medina gates. Very cozy and the owners - Vincent and Christophe - make you feel very welcome. They certainly go beyond their duty to make you feel very welcome. You certainly leave this place with 2 new friends. Fatima, their assistant, has always a smile in her face and makes the best Moroccon pancake we had in Morocco. Brekfast in the roof terrace is very relaxing and good. We wouldn't hesitate to go back!"

"My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. We spent four weeks in Morocco and staying in the Riad Boujloud was a highlght. The house is sympathetically decorated and has a wonderful roof terrace from where to watch the evening call to prayer and the sun going down over the city.
Fatima is a truly wonderful cook and prepared the best meal we had in Morocco. Mealsoin the riad aren't cheap by Moroccan prices, but it is really worth every penny. The tagine was so perfectly cooked, it made every other meal we had in Morocco seem so mundane. Breakfast is also top notch (Fatima's crepes are superb).
Finally, both Christophe and Vincent are so welcoming and made our stay so pleasant. They were both very willing to give us their time to share with us their knowledge of the city and the surrounding area. Many thanks to all for making our stay in Fes so enjoyable."

Great location, super friendly, beautiful riad
"Loved this place and its owners. My wife and I stayed two nights and it was great. Located a short stroll from the main gate Bab Boujloud. Right in the heart of things but not the slightest bit of noise from the streets. Vincent, Christophe and Fatima were incredibly welcoming and most helpful with all things from recommendations of restaurants or authentic shops, to simply finding your way around the medina. The Riad itself is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and filled with lovely decorations."

Absolutely perfect, couldn't have been better
"There's nothing I would change about this place, it's perfect. Comfortable beds, beautiful rooms, quiet and peaceful despite being in the heart of the medina, spotlessly clean, and delicious breakfasts. Vincent and Christophe are a lovely pair -they were always available to offer help and advice but were never intrusive. It honestly felt like a home away from home. Fatima cooks amazing pancakes for breakfast, which is served on the roof terrace so you can look across at the rest of the city. There is one sweet little cat and lots of finches and parrakeets frisking about in aviaries, so in the morning you wake up to birdsong even though you're in a city. I can't praise this place highly enough -just go and see for yourselves!"

Our best stay in Morocco
"We stayed two nights in this riad, guided by the good critics we read in tripadvisor, and it was even better of what we expected. Rooms are clean and comfortable; breakfast is delicious; the location is very centric but the riad is very calm. I could list more details, but, without any doubt, what we most liked was how the owners made us feel like at home. Their friendliness, closeness, their suggestions,... these kind of details made of our stay in Fes one of our best souvenirs of our trip."
