"We went with our three kids and this hotel just wasn't for us. The only positive thing i can say is that the room sizes are big thats about all, but i have a long list of problems we encoutered with the hotel. firstly there was no cot even though i had pre requested it. We waited so long for one! the first night my baby fell off the bed and he was not safe. After lots of nagging i got one. Our AC wasnt working, the light in the bath wasn't working, our towels weren't changed often, oh i could go on and on. It would take ages for someone to come and fix. They always short changed us when we exchanged money and with no reciet.
But by far the worst was the dinner. It used to take them over two hours to serve a three course meal which isn't ideal when you have kids!!!
Never again am i going to this hotel. We are not a fussy family and don't mind where we stay but this just wasn't for us especially with children."

"I recently went here for 2 weeks with my family. It was amazing. The appartment was perfect, the bed was huge! I staff were all really helpful when we needed iformation on traveling, How to get there or where to go. There is Wi-fi connection in the reception for laptops ect. but there are also a few computers if you do not have a laptop with you. The Swimming pool is wonderful, even if it is abit cold in the winter. It is fresh water so all the birds come and drink from it, it is beautiful. Around the pool are flowerbeds and tucked up thin those flower beds are Tortoises that are very friedly, we sat and fed them sometimes. Although it isnt right next to the sea, it isnt a long walk, and taxi's are easy enough to get. It is also very close to the city and a very big super market.
I will return there one day. No doubt. Loved every second of it. High reconmedation!"

A week in heaven
"Me and 3 of my girlfriends stayed here for a week, we were very impressed by the hotel and its facilities, extremely clean. All the staff we've very friendly and always went out of their way to help us. At the time a lot of builing was going on around the hotel which was a bit of an eye sore and it wasnt situated in the best of area's, definitly wasnt safe to walk into town at night from where we were. THe hotel provided a moroccan themed night which was great to enjoy the culture. They also organise buses to the markets etc. Overall we got great value for money and would highly recommend this hotel, more for the couple's than families with children as not much childrens services are available here. hope this is of help to you. Alex."

Great Value Hotel
"Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this gem of a hotel last week and we would highly recommend it.
First of all our expectaions were not very high because of some of the reviews that i read and about ongoing construction around the hotel, but we hoped for the best.
We were very pleased with the size of our room, very spacious with a balcony area and kitchen area, large bed and bathroom, and tv with good channels, for the lazy evenings.
The staff were helpful, especially Mohammed the bus driver who recommended places to eat etc. The shuttle bus will take you wherever for about 50c p/p! Taxis are cheap to get around in also.
The 'construction' that we heard about was in fairness not the prettiest to look at, but there was absolutely no noise at all, they must build brick by brick (my guess work is slow)!!
The food was good for breakfast approx 4.50 euro for buffet, and the poolside menu was also great with burgers, salads and panninis ranging from approx 2 - 3 euro!
The only downfall for our week was that the swipe card system for the rooms was down so we had to bring a member of staff with us everytime we wanted to get in to our room.....but i guess there had to be something!
Overall we were extremely pleased with this hotel and i definately recommend it for great value."

"We decided to try something different and strayed away from or normal European holiday on this occasion.
The hotel was fab, absolutely faultless, clean, pleasant staff although the breakfast did get a little monotonous.
Agadir very quiet considering this is the 'touristy' part of Morocco.
What was tiring was getting ripped off at every turn, in the bars, restaurants and every shop. Being overcharged or actually chased down the street when one waitress had omitted something from the bill (that the generous tip covered twice over) was incredibly annoying and slightly embarrassing for us as everyone turned round to look at us.
People just do not take no for an answer in Agadir and I do not like having to be rude to people simply to be left alone and despite being fully covered up on an evening with my long hair fastened back as per the cultural guides I had read, I was still leered at, which was uncomfortable when I was making an effort to not offend.
Not somewhere we will be returning to until they learn how to treat the tourists better who are bringing money into their communities."

"Just back from two weeks in Agadir with my boyfriend and had a brilliant time. Yes, there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel but we were not even slightly disturbed by noise or work. The staff are all first class and really appreciate good tipping. The standard rate is 10% but with everything so cheap and the standard of service so high, I would recommend giving them more, a little bit more money means so much more to them and you won't miss it. The staff would fall over themselves to help you with absolutely anything so deserve the appreciation.
The hotel facilities were great but having to get up at 7:30 in the morning to ensure you got a place by the pool was not much fun. The rooms are a very good size and although the kitchen was quite basic, it was sufficient.
There is plenty to do, with the town and beach a short walk or cheap taxi away, it is very accessible. There were also many trips organised through the tour operator. The boat trip was not the best due to poor weather conditions but we also went out on the camels, quads and a day trip to the Massa and Western Sahara, all of which I would highly recommend - very good value for money and great days out. One tip, if hiring quads, is better to get one between two people. It is a long enough trip and when we were out it was 52C so too much for one person to drive alone!!
The only fault I would find was that it was impossible to walk through the town without people trying to get you into their shop and, if they do manage to, it's very hard to get out without buying anything. Also watch out for chancers who try giving you massages on the beach or selling you something as they will rip you off.
All in all, a brilliant holiday, very relaxing but still with plenty to do for the more adventurous. We will definitely be going again. "

"I stayed in a Studio Room which had a balcony with decking chairs and table, plenty of wardrobe space, a TV and kitchen with fridge/freezer and two hobs plus plenty of cutelry.
The problem I had in my room was ants!! Well in the kitchen anyway. Got tired of spraying them and cleaning up to make sure there was not a scrap of food.
The pool is not great but not too bad. There is music provided by the pool during the day so dont expect peace and quiet lol.
The staff love to flirt with female guests and are friendly .
My problem is that Morocco women are not aloud to even wait in the reception area. I tried getting my mate that I met who was moroccon up to my room but it was impossible."

" Just come back from Agadir. Overall a really good experience. I would recommend it to anybody.
I went with 5 of my friends, so booked two rooms as we were told one room can house up to 3 people, so we thought their would be three beds, but to our astonishment there was only a king size bed. After speaking to the receptionist about this, we were moved to more spacious rooms which put a smile on all our faces.
Hotel was very good. Maid came in everyday changed the towels and tidied up etc. A little tipping the maids goes a long way so I would certainly recommend that, although they donât ask for anything.
Breakfast wasnât all that, so we used to eat out everyday. The pool was pretty decent as well as the Jacuzzi and health spa, top class. You can also get a massage from the beautiful Moroccan girls at the spa for about 250 dirhams as well.
The beach is a 5 minute drive in a petit taxi; they normally charge about 15 dirhams to the beach which isnât even a pound. Beach is beautiful though. You can try a whole host of activities there such as jet skis and quad biking etc.
If you can take a trip up to the kasbah which is the hill which the words "GOD, COUNTRY, OWNER" written in Arabic. Awesome views of the beach from up there.
The soukh-al-ahad is well worth visiting as well to try your hand at haggling. Ten minute drive in a petit taxi. Traditional Moroccan market. Amazing.
Bird Valley which is a few minutes away from the beach is a peaceful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the promenade. 5 dirhams for entrance. Nice
The agadir nightlife is pretty good as well. The sofitel nightclub is the pick of them all. A classy disco with classy revellers. Agadir beach club is pretty good as well, which is also a haven for the beautiful local Arab girls. Atlantic palace is a nightclub which starts at 4 in the morning so id recommend that to the hardcore revellers out there.
All in all really nice holiday, we will be going back next year.

"Having just spent a week at the hotel I would like to add my comments.
When me and my boyfriend arrived we were shocked to see so much building work going on around the surrounding areas to the hotel. We did think that this was going to be a problem but it wasnât, we didnât hear any noise and I was shocked at the hours and the pace that they work. (Long hours, fast pace).
I must say that there isn't very much to do in Agadir esp if your young and looking for things to do to keep you occupied, (we did find some bumper cars which was fun and my boyfriend kept paying for the locals to have another go).
Although me and my boyfriend did go to Marrakech which was a really good experience, the snake charmers and monkeys were really good although they do ask for money for taking photos of the animals.
They also offer a horse and carriage that takes you round and stops at the tourist places and the driver tells you about the gardens ect, its good value for money and last for over an hour.
The hotel was very clean and the cleaner was in every day and she changed the towels every day, all the staff were very friendly and me and my boyfriend spent many of times laughing and joking with them.
The shuttle bus that the hotel offers is very good and cheap and the driver is very friendly and if you ask him to come back for you he will.
The breakfast is very basic but there was always plenty of tea on offer.
Our room was really big and the balcony was very good as well with a view of the pool, the kitchen was very good and had a little hob, which came in handy for making cups of tea, if we left anything on the side that needed washing up the cleaner would also clean them, which was nice of her.
The one thing that I really didnât like is that we went to a restaurant on the beach front and there was a kitten running around, and the staff were shocked that I wanted it away from us when we were eating, needless to say that we didnât eat there again.
All in all the hotel was nice and clean and my boyfriend loved the gym. I donât think that we will be going back to Agadir any time soon as we like something to do while on holiday, but a lovely hotel and staff to be proud of!"
