**** DO NOT BOOK **** ONLY ITALIANS WELCOME!!!
"I booked this hotel for 6 nights from 10th June 2013 but couldn't get past security. Even though my room was paid for security WOULD NOT LET ME ON THE RESORT BECAUSE I WAS ENGLISH.
I asked to be allowed to go to reception to sort out the problem but was refused entrance. I asked to speak to the manager on the phone but was basically ignored.
After an hour, an English couple came out of the resort with their luggage and told me not to even bother. They had the same problem as me when the arrived in the middle of the night and argued with security for FOUR HOURS before being allowed to stay for a few hours until they could contact their travel agency once they had opened in the morning. Even though they had paid for 7 nights, they still had to pay an additional 190 Euros for the room.
I phoned my travel agent who transfered my booking to another hotel.
I rated it 1 out of 10 because i could give ZERO
I know this sounds hard to believe, but please, please ask your travel agent to check this "ITALIAN ONLY POLICY" or book at your peril!!!!"

well earned BLISS
"After a slightly stressful lead up to this holiday...Is it finished?..is it all open?...will we get what we booked? etc.......................
We had a superb time. We were slightly spoilt with the extra service and space that we received due to the lack of guests in the hotel and we also count ourselves extremely lucky to find some genuinely nice guests with whom we got on very well with as a family.
This aside the hotel is stunningly appointed with a modern contemporary design. The rooms are to a high quality with plenty of space. The pools and grounds are fantastic and lead immediately onto the beech. Swim up bar is a nice touch. The hotel has all the facilities you could possibly need and the complex is of a size that puts it all within easy reach. The food was excellent during our stay, and there is plenty for all, young or old.
Bonus for Sharm..... Hotel is located on a superb private beach around Nabq Bay which creates fantastic waves on one side and calm snorkling waters full of fish on the other, literally within 300yrds of each other.. The view over the bay from the hotel is breathtaking especially as the sun drops out of the sky over the mountains in the early evening. Catching crabs on the beach after 9pm gave the kids endless fun.
Bad points...Got quite windy at night especially if sitting out at the beach bar. Sharm is not the place if you enjoy shopping. Egyptian entertainment is poor no matter how good your hotel is! Guests from other hotels can pay to use the beach, and they stray into the pool!!"

A lovely hotel but not a great as made out
"This is a beautiful hotel, no doubts, with some of the loveliest staff we have ever encountered - especially Hanna and Hassan and the lovely room man Walid. The staff actually make this hotel.
We had booked two superior swimup rooms, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE. They are not true swimup rooms - quiet simply they are twelve ground floor rooms in a v shape which share a pool. They are totally misrepresented in all the hotel publicity. Management would do well to look at the Sensatori hotel in Crete for the real meaning of swimup rooms.
Also the private pools rooms based at the front beach side of the hotel are NOT private pool rooms. As lovely as they look, these are actually more like true swimups, So big thumbs down for the dubious marketing....bit of a con.
Saying that, the rooms were lovely, huge rain showers, great film channels on TV, lovely comfy couch - lighting a big poor would be only negative.
We had booked on ultra all inclusive through Louis Holidays before the company severed all ties with the hotel. And we most certainly DID NOT get what we had been sold.
In our week there, there was not one of the so called a la carte restaurants open, which was a big deciding factor in our taking a risk on booking this new hotel. Huge disappointment. We complained and assitant manager Reda apologised and gave our party late checkouts for free. Also the so called 1000 until 2400 hour snack buffet was not available.
It is probably a good thing that the hotel is scrapping the all inclusive idea because it does not deliver what is promised and would lead to many, many complaints.
Saying that if the prices remain the same as the all inclusive rates now for even half board there are many hotels in Sharm which, although not as beautiful, are much better value for money.
The beach is nice in parts and hideous in others. But it does have some coral close to shore with amazing fish.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday but it was not the fantastic experience we had hoped.
We have been to Egypt seven times now, including Luxor, Cairo, Aswan, cruise and several other Sharm hotels and although this is a lovely looking hotel, with fab staff it is not a place we would consider returning too."

"eI wont beat about the bush and kep it simple.
1. When we arrived at the airport we had to make our own way to the hotel. We got a taxi and he didnt know where the hotel was. Im sure this will improve as more people arrive. I suggest you ask for the Mirrabel and then ask him to carry on for about a mile. Hotel is the last one on the road.
2. Very impressed with Hotel Entrance very grand.
3. Reception/ lobby very impressive. We were greeted and shown to a table and received a cocktail. The hotel manager explained a few things to us and a brief overview of the hotel.
4. Hotel room is probably the best I've stayed in, excellent house keeping and mini bar filled daily. Live streaming of the pool shown on the TV, also on returning to the room the bed was turned down and any clothes left were neatly arranged into animated positions. Nice touch
5. Pool furniture to a very high standard and no need to rush to get your position (for the moment anyway!)
6. I recommend relaxing in the sea bar and watching the sunset over the Sinai mountains. Worth the air fair alone. Im led to beleive that this will remain as no furrther development is permitted along the bay.
7. Snorkling is good but not much colour along the reef. This may be due to the amount of silt as visibility is sometimes poor.
8. Be warned there is not much activity for young children and a few parents were moaning about the lack of activities for the children. Although Animation Team were extremely friendly but could sometimes but a bit annoying.
9. Spa not fully open.
10. Fish Restaurant not open
11. Dive Centre not open
I had a really wonderful hioliday but wanted to be honest in my review. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as the points raised could change on a

*********ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE**************
"On arrival to Tiran hotel we were in awe at how stunning hotel is. We were greated by conseirge manager with freezing cold towels and cold drinks, no AI wristband and shown too our room. Room was fantastic. very large bed, sofa bed for child. Mini bar stocked with Coca cola, sprite ,fanta, 2 large cans of Stella beer and 2 bottles of water. Plenty of storage space, iron and ironing board, clothes brush, lots of space . Beach towels in room changed daily. we had a fantastic view of sunset from mountains, I am still in awe. Location of hotel fantastic, you find yourself looking around just not able to believe that views are real, so picturesque.
Service at hotel is first class. Staff cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. Food is fantastic, stayed for 2 weeks and never ate they same food twice, unless you request to. Freshly made, to your choice of pizza ,pasta. 3 al la carte restaurants, italian, chinese and oriental all serving 5 courses, fillet steak, sea bass, chicken, sushi...mmm..
Hotel lights up at night with colour changing lights throughout. Beachbar at night stunning, right on the beach, with nice cool breeze, whilst enjoying nice relaxing drink after eating so much food.
Daily day and evening entertainment, stretching, water gym, water polo etc kids club with playground and large trampoline with enclosure. Mini disco every night with dance shows, egyptcian folklaw, guitar playist.
Pool area is fantastic, as hotel has just opened, and not many guests, never had to reserve sunbed, just awoke at a leisurely pace, sometimes missing breakfast, had a ground floor room with patio doors right on pool, which has swim up bar. Service is fantastic, serving a wide variety of alcholic soft drinks, flavoured teas, ice coffee, cappaccino, espresso etc. icecream, snacks... Bar will serve you drinks from Ken's lobby bar 24hrs and give you snacks such as crisp, nuts etc.
Snorkelling at beach is fantastic, Hotel allows guests from other hotels to pay to use beach, but beach area is never crowded, as very large bay. Beach is shingley, but this is due to coral.
We didn't want to return home, I would highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic relaxing holiday and would return again, but will all depend on board basis, as prefer AI board basis."

Amazing..... You will never want to leave.
"On arrival to the Tiran Hotel (Formally Louis Tiran) you will be speachless, the entrance to the Hotel, and reception are beautifull. We were met by Mr George who escorted us to a seating area for a cool refreshing drink (which we so needed) and a ice cold flannel. We booked in and could not believe our room. We had been upgraded and were situated right outside the main pool (Ground Floor) with sea view and a stones throw away from the bar.
The room was wonderfull, it has everything you need and more. I cannot overstate how perfect this hotel is. The staff are friendly, and can not do enough for you. The food was increadible, the main resteraunt offers a buffet style menu, and considering that the hotel was not officially open and the staff outnumbered the guests there was a varied selection of meals. They have three special restaurants on the upper level of the hotel. An Italian, Chinese and Asian. Would highly recommend all three.
The hotel is still unfinished, the fish bar by the beach was not open and some area's within the hotel are yet to be completed, however you really would not care. I constantly walked around smiling, because there were not many guests (70 at most) we all became one big family. . My 18 year old had a ball, having just got back from Malia she was looking for a peacefull holiday and she certainly got it. Each day we played water polo, and water gymnastics with the animation team (Aggi (my personal fav), Lola and Katia) . I had my birthday there and received the most delicious cake and celebrated at the beach bar in the evening. My daughter also used Mr George's office to find out her A level results and to see if she got into her chosen university. The rooms do have internet connection, however we did not bring her laptop. (They could not have done enough for us if they tried.
The sea is so warm and you can go in waist deep and see all the fish, at around 9pm crabs come out of the sea and chill out on the beach. Wonderfull to behold.
So to finish of my review, Thank you Mr George and all the team. I'd give you a 7 star you all totally deserve it. Now have to start saving to return next year....."

Amazing and cannot wait to get back!
"When we arrived the hotel looked beautiful, we got a very warm welcome staff couldn't do enough for us. The animation team were fantastic! Lola, Kate and Aggi always kept us smiling and made us do aqua gym in the morning!, Also to top the holiday we met a really lovely family which we are going to stay in touch with and hopefully go back next year with them. The hotel was advertising lots of entertainment but we got there two days after it opened and some of the things weren't ready which was slightly dissapointing because there was so many activities to do, so hopefully when we go back all this will be available."

"can't wait to go back!"
"On arrival at the "Louis Tiran" we were privileged to be told that we were the first family to arrive on its opening day and we we were warmly welcomed by Mr George the front office manager & Mr Andreas the food & beverages manager ,both of whom were fluent in English & genuinely courteous and kind & whom made our entire stay a thoroughly enjoyable experience with their attentiveness to our every requirement! We were upgraded on arrival from a superior sea view family room, to 2 adjoining superior sea view rooms each with a private pool, less than 50 yards from the beach!! (which was better than most in Sharm & attracted guests from other hotels due to its location) Also despite arriving very late in the evening we were escorted to our rooms where awaiting us were hors d'oeuvres, wine, & fruit platters! The rooms are exquisite, spacious & very contemporary! The room with its very contemporary design had Internet access, 32" flat screen tv's, robes, slippers, iron & board, air conditioning, walk in shower, kettle, hairdryer, safety deposit box, complimentary mini bar with a selection of alcoholic & soft drinks (inc mini cartons of fresh fruit juice which were handy for the kids!) & even 3 pin sockets so no need for travel adaptors. Really was home from home!
The animation team were wonderful & consisted of 3 really lovely girls (Agi,Lola,& Kate) & and a really nice man Khalid who were all always excellent with both the children & the adults, and very keen & helpful to entertain the kids both during the days & evenings, just a shame we couldn't bring them all back to entertain the kids for a bit longer :-) My two kids adored them and still ask for them now despite returning home 2 wk's ago!!:-(( There is a small outdoor play area near the beach with some slides (great when the plastic wasn't too hot for them to use!) & a trampoline with an enclosure which the kids really enjoyed but also a large ,colourful building which was the air conditioned kids club with an assortment of see saws & rocking horses, & ride on cars etc... to amuse the younger children & table football & Tv for the older ones.(My 2 kids loved spending a bit of the day in there just to cool off and chill). The animation girls were always available to assist with the children whilst parents either watched on or took some time out themselves, benefiting both parent & child!!
The food was of a much better quality than we have had at other 5* hotels we've stayed in on our previous 6 visits to Egypt, as the head chef Harry is actually a Cypriot. The chefs were more than accommodating by preparing special requests from the children for spaghetti bolognese or chicken nuggets at short notice if there wasn't anything they fancied at the buffet, which we were very grateful for. There are also 3 beautifully decorated & ornate "a la carte" restaurants above reception (Asian,Oriental & Italian) We dined at all three & the food was of a high standard in all of them, serving sushi & other delicacies but the finest was definitely the Italian.
There was also a very contemporary & well equipped gym & spa above reception too which will be fabulous when completed but sadly wasn't ready for the duration of our stay .Tennis courts were open for use & the volley ball court was soon to be completed too
All of the staff in the hotel including the reception, bar, restaurant & pool staff, & especially Saed the Chief concierge were unbelievably helpful & sweet and were eager to do anything we asked of them, inc ordering takeaway Macdonald's for the kids to be delivered to the hotel to purchasing an illusive rugby ball for our son! They really were a lovely team of staff and more sincere than in other hotels weâve stayed at.
The only downside of our entire stay was that contrary to belief the hotel is not completely finished and there are still workmen on site, & inevitably there was on some days an excess of building noise ( mainly in the rooms directly above our private pool!) which was less than ideal (especially when the JCB tractor pulled up 80 ft from our sunbeds!!) but after a few complaints to the management the builders moved to another part of the hotel & peace was finally restored. It really is the only thing that partly spoilt our holiday because other than that it really was quite perfect & for a change we were very sad to be coming home!
We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel (as it is also a very brief taxi ride away from a nice shopping centre called "La Strada " which has all that Naama has but without the hussle & bussle) & intend to return there ourselves & hope that it can & will maintain its very high standards as the hotel becomes busier & more established over time!"

LOUIS TIRAN SHARM
"Well my husband and I were one of the first guests to stay at this new Hotel, opened 15th July 2009. Yes it is actually now open!
What a welcome, the best ever.
Beautiful rooms, everything brand spanking new. although not all amenities are open yet, this did not spoil anything.
The approach to the beach is breath taking and the fish swimming round you at knee height is amazing. Take your snorkels and flippers- it's brilliant.
Staff were without exception quite magnificent.
Food extremely good. Bar staff amazing!!!!
Can't complain about anything. Nothing was too much trouble.
Just hope this high standard can be maintained.- when Hotel really takes off.
Animation girls are so lovely, Lola, Katia and Agatha- love to you all!!
Hope to be there again very soon.
Anne & Mike- booked via On The Beach Holidays."
