Nice hotel, poor front desk service
"In general, this is a nice hotel to stay in. It isn't a big hotel, but it looked very nice.
The desk service isn't good. It looked like there are several people working there, most of them are not friendly, but one or two are. Also, you have to be lucky that you don't have to wait for 5 minutes till you can speak to them, because they seem to be busy the whole time. It looked like that there is one person at the front desk at one time.
The day my girlfriend and I checked in, we got a room with three single beds, which cannot be moved together since the bedside tables are in the way. So we called the desk for another room. However, they said the hotel was booked at 100%, so we have to stay at the room for one night and then change the next day. Changing rooms the next day took quite long. We were repeatedly told to wait or come back later, and when they were ready to serve us, the desk worker got really peevish about changing rooms. When a colleague of him went with us to lead us to the new room, he laughed and seemed to make a gesture not minding his colleague at the front desk .
The old room was ok, but the new room looked really nice. It was situated just a few meters from the pool. Both rooms were clean.
The two restaurants were nice. Although this hotel is based on all inclusive, thus there is only buffet, the food was delicious. The waiters were friendly.
The pool and beach were nice. The people at the surfing school were really really nice and friendly.
There is also a health club, where you can get a massage. That was a real disappointment. The atmosphere was dark, cold and it was literally cold inside. The dirty steam bath was not hot and the water in jaccuzi was lukewarm. Even in the massage room it was cold.
Overall, the personnel were friendly, except some at the front desk and the shopping center.
Liked: room at the pool, cleanliness, view, surfing school, buffet
Disliked: front desk, shopping center, health club"
