Hotel Riu Touareg

Very Good but not the best
"We have just come back after staying at the Riu Touareg for a week.
We arrived at the hotel at about 12 and were given a very welcome drink.Check in was very fast considering the amount of people on the flight were staying here. The room was very nice, a suite with a lot of space, shame the view was of the garden and not the beach. The room was very clean bit the toilet had a smell and the only way stop being hit by the smell every time you came to the room was to make sure the lid was down, door closed and the bathroom door closed as well.
We went around and boy this is a very large hotel but was able to find everything very easily. The pools are nice with the swim up bar etc.
Lots of sun beds etc but we never used them as we don't like being crowded.
We went on the beach and this is where this place scored, the beach is absolutely brilliant and i am comparing with the west indies, Goa and the Maldives . We are vegetarians and our problems were with the food, very limited choice for vegetarians as almost everything will have some fish or meat thrown in , even items labeled as vegetarian had lumps of meat.
The African restaurant was completely no go but the Asian had a bit more choice."
