"I have this morning, 2 December, just returned home from a two nights/one day mini cruise from Newcastle to Amsterdam with this ship and company. Accommodation(shared double cabin) was good, clean, enough space and everything worked - only minor criticism was that the cabin was a little over heated. Food excellent and plentiful. Wines and bar prices generally were rather high. All staff I encountered at every level were courteous, cheerful and helpful. Entertainment was better than expected and catered for a range of tastes - cinema, casino, disco and talented live performers. The inclusive tour of Amsterdam was interesting and comfortable; the tour guide informative and good humoured. The only downside of the whole experience was not enough tobacco smoke-free areas - a pity that smoking is permitted at all; it should certainly be banned totally in all restaurants and bars. A few adolescent passengers travelling as a small group became rowdy and stupid at about 2am, disturbing people trying to sleep, and ought to have been dealt with firmly before they reached that stage. Generally a very enjoyable experience and good value. I recommend it. "
