The experience was perfect.

"The cruise was part of a 2 week holiday in Egypt, at the time the Russian plane crashed.

We can not think of anything that was disliked. The cabin was compact but had en-suite. The crew were all excellent, always smiling and pleasant as was the Red Sea representative.

The food was not five star but very good buffet considering it was a smallish boat. The pastries were really good. We definitely put on a lot of weight as the food was plentiful.

There were about 50 Germans and 7 of us Brits. The Germans were exemplary, good fun and pleasant to be with. They were mostly over 50 years old. I would definitely prefer to be them than the cretins from the UK that we had to endure on the Thomas Cook planes.

All in all we had an excellent cruise with some unusual experiences thrown in.

Don't take tight fitting clothes.

"5* disappointment - went for Christmas and expected something grand for our rather expensive holiday. The best meal of them whole holiday was the Turkey served on Christmas eve. The rest of the food was mediocre and the beef in whatever form was tough the staff were very nice tie less art was amazing and Gilan our guide was very informative"

dream cruise

"we chose this boat ,as the reviews were excellant. dont let the unrest in egypt put you off ,the boat was 90% british so it was easy to mix. the boat well kitted out with spacious air con room with a fridge and a king size bed. the included trips were fine, with early starts on most, which was fine as you are back on the boat for lunch. our guide was magic, who know everythink about the egyption history. on some occasions we felt he went on a bit, but most people were intrigued. you wont find anywhere better staff, so helpful and jolly.cruiseing down the nile you see all going ons from fab scenery to taxis being washed in the river.

one thing for sure is you will be hassled to death. we went on a trip to the nubian village where no body was hassled and we spent well.

the egyption night was a hoot with most people dressing up with the cloths bought off the traders. best night of the trip. its a must to dress up.

the food and drink was plentyful.,with food cooked in front of you. never had a problem finding somethink to eat. even the soft drinks were a brand name. the night entertainment was a bit poor, but that was not a issue. every night when you go to your room the towels were usedto make differant objects (crocs, monkeys, mummys etc) very clever.

the pool is small but adequete and never a problem for a sun bed.

this was our second cruise and this one was by far the best one we have ever had.rear in mind at there peak there were 300+ boats, now only 30-50 being used, but that made it more relaxing for the tourist.
