Never again, most awful rooms

"The staff were very friendly, but the room was ventilation this was the worse hotel I have visited in North Cyprus and I've stayed at a few. Booked through Cyprus Paradise, stayed only on the first and last night, purely for the transport. Living area ok, bathroom/toilet poor, bedroom on mezzanine floor too hot only ventilation was the window, couldn't leave it open overnight. No 24 hour staff so couldn't leave the key on departure."

  • Advice: Ensure the room can be ventilated and the bathroom and toilet are in working order.

rose garden

"This could be a great holiday place if they upped their game a bit bungalows are a decent size with good air con bar area is okay, pool needs to be cleaned more grounds are kept neat one tree needs serious cutting back as it overhangs pool and sunbeds and drops leaves seeds and nuts into pool and onto sunbeds.cleaners to bungalows if that's what they can be called don't do much apart from bedding this is where its really let down don't really want to be buying cleaning products to be cleaning shower, toilet, kitchen cupboards, worktops and floors as they tend to miss these."

Excellent accomodation & resort

"İ've just had my first holiday in North Cyprus and it definitely wont be my last.

İ booked flights through Pegasus Airlines and flew from Stansted to Ercan. There was a 45 minute stop-off in Turkey where some people got off and others got on to go to North Cyprus. We didn't have to get off the plane, but it gave us time to stretch our legs before flying the rest of the way to Ercan. You can fly direct to Larnaca, but then you have the added car journey and also the time spent to cross the border.

Our hotel was about 45 mınutes away from Ercan. We were collected from the airport by Abdi. His English is quite good so while we were driving to the hotelhe told us a bit about the area.

The hotel was a small, friendly hotel and they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Obviously, at this time of year there is not alot going on at the hotels, but the restaurant and bar were open if we didnt feel like going out. The food was great, serving kebabs, steaks, local dishes, fish and more. (Thank you Ali). We'd then go to the bar, which wasn't very busy, but with enough people there to give it a good atmosphere. Having spoken to some of the other customers, we soon realised that quite a few of them were ex-pats, now living in Cyprus, and come to Rose Gardens on a regular basis to eat and drink.

We will definately be going back to Rose Gardens later this year.

Thank you Tony, Abdi, Ali, Hülya and the rest of the gang for making our 1st experience of North Cyprus a memorable one.
