About Villas Don Rafael

Villas Don Rafael are ideal for couples or families seeking luxury, villa-style accommodation in the centre of Puerto del Carmen, the famed resort town on the island of Lanzarote. Don Rafael comprises 12 independent villas with a swimming pool and offers serene views of the Atlantic Ocean. They are an excellent choice for keen golfers and Nature lovers alike, since they are ensconced between the beach and the Puerto del Carmen golf course.

All villas come with three bedrooms and their own pool and solarium, so you can make everyday a peaceful pool party in the company of the people you love. The staff will lend you sound loungers, a barbecue, parasols… anything you need for the ultimate bespoke stay. If you need to keep update on the goings on back home or at the office, fear not; all villas have free Wi-Fi, so you can send all the emails you need to, or check important messages.

Villas Don Rafael boast easy access to the airport, the capital of Lanzarote (Arrecife) and the highway, so you will find it very easy to tour the island in your car, discovering all its natural and cultural wonders. The villas are at a walking distance from the popular Puerto del Carmen, known for its bevy of restaurants, shops, boutiques, bars and nightclubs. They are also a two-minute drive away from the nearest golf course.

Facilities, Entertainment, Activities

When you rent a villa, you are clearly after the independence and discretion that only this type of exclusive accommodation can afford. When you are home, the action will undoubtedly centre on the pool, with its sun loungers and parasols tempting you to stay indoors all day. The soft sands of the beach are nearby, though, so if you decide that you’d like a more active holiday, make sure to try the array of water sports available, including sailing, parasailing, surfing and diving.

Nature lovers should not miss out on a visit to the Timanfaya Natural Park, where you can see steam shooting from the ground and a variety of different volcanic surfaces. The views at the park are spectacular, and ideal for those seeking to unwind from hectic city life.

If you are after a bit of partying, head for Puerto del Carmen and you will find all the coolest dance clubs on the island.

Room Information and Room Facilities

The villas have three rooms: a Master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and two rooms with twin beds and an independent bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster etc., and you will also find a host of practical electronic apparatus, including an iron, washing machine, etc.

All villas have a safe and are protected by an alarm system. Each villa has its own pool and sunbathing area, surrounded by carefully manicured gardens. The pools are cleaned once a week and the staff is polite and attentive, so you can always feel free to ask their advice with planning your stay in Lanzarote, so your holiday is truly memorable.

Food and Drink Options

The fully equipped kitchen and barbecue mean that you can whip up the meal of your dreams for family and friends. On days that you don’t feel like cooking, venture forth into Puerto del Carmen, where you will find many highly rated restaurants serving everything from local delights to creative international dishes. Tuck into a hearty paella, wash down some appetising tapas with a cold beer, or opt for healthy bistro-style cuisine. Even the best restaurants are quite affordable, so you can tap into your inner gourmet during your stay in Lanzarote.

I stayed with my family for one week...

"I stayed with my family for one week in the above accommodation and the villa was excellent. Our rep Pablo was very attentive and we had four visits from him in one week. When we requested extra pillows they were delivered on the same afternoon. The only fault that I had was when the cleaners were in that they did not change the bed linen!

The villa was in excellent condition and we could not find fault with it, and would highly recommend it and will be revisiting it again for future holidays!

These villas are within walking...

"These villas are within walking distance of the resort which is a plus for us as neither of us like driving when abroad and there was no need to hire a car. The villas themselves are excellent, very clean and well looked after and they each have a private pool.

The views from the terrace are stunning - you can look out to sea and when it’s clear you can even see the Island of Fuerteventura! The reception staff were very helpful and when we had a problem with the water going off the maintenance team were there and had fixed it within half an hour.

Although it was walking distance to the resort and harbour area - where there are an abundance of restaurants -some evenings we took a taxi back to the villa and the most we paid was 3€!! so between 4 of us that was pretty good value!!!
