Comprised of two islands, Turks & Caicos are part of the British Overseas Territories in the West Indies. Over the past several years, Turks & Caicos has become known for its coral reefs (fabulous for diving) and as a place of relaxation for the rich and famous. The islands cover approximately 193 square miles and have some of the largest coral reefs in the world. The population is just over 30,000, providing a quiet location for those seeking a peaceful holiday. The beaches are fabulous and the islands are filled with resorts of all price and luxury levels, offering travelers a variety of options.



The official language is English, although there is a version of Creole that is spoken as well.
