Tunisia is at the northernmost tip of Africa with a fantastic Mediterranean climate and a great appeal to families, adventurous backpackers and more senior holidaymakers. There is so much to see and do in Tunisia you wont know where to start. Explore ancient mosques and souks and visit the bustling ancient medinas, take a jeep safari and visit sites of interest such as the ruins at Carthage, caves at Matmata and amphitheatre at El Djem, or simply relax by the beach.
Don't forget although Islamic law is now less rigidly followed in Tunisia, things get more traditional further inland, and women should cover shoulders and legs.
