Sunny Beach is the most southerly of Bulgaria's Black Sea resorts, and lies approximately 90km from Varna airport and 30km from Bourgas airport. This is a purpose built resort developed along the coast, consisting of mainly large, modern hotels.
Sunny Beach is favoured by families with children, terrain is flat and the 8km long beach shelves gently into the sea. Watersports are available at the beach during high season. There is a good range of bars and nightclubs in the resort centre and a reasonable range of good value options for eating out with menus offering both local and international cuisine.
A minitrain runs through resort and is well priced and buses are available to nearby Bourgas, Nessebar and Elenite. Remember to only book local excursions through your tour operator.

The Nobel hotel complex is located in the southern part of Sunny Beach Resort, on the outskirts of the historical town of Nessebar, near the highway Burgas – Varna. It is situated among unique sandy dunes on the Black Sea beach. The distance to the sea is about 100 m.

Oazis Hotel
The Oasis is a newly built 4-star hotel complex situated in the very heart of Sunny Beach. The hotel is situated just 100 metres from the beach and close to the resort’s shops, restaurants and clubs. The complex offers to its guests a sports centre, lots of room and hotel facilities.

Offering comfortable standards and a prime seafront position, the Palas is sure to be popular with couples and more mature guests. It's just 50 metres to the beach (through the hotel grounds) and 1.5 km to the resort centre - with plenty of shops, bars and eateries in the immediate area.

The Palazzo is a well designed, new hotel offering guests comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location. The Paloma Hotel was fully refurbished for summer 2004 season. This hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the Sunny Beach Resort, within two minutes walk of the main bus stop providing access to the local villages and the surrounding region. The main path to the beach is situated just in front of the hotel and the beach is just five minutes walk away. Close to the complex guests will find restaurants, a pizza restaurant, bars, discos and shops.

Pomorie Hotel
The popular Pomorie hotel has been recently refurbished for Summer 2004. The advantage of this hotel is its excellent health centre which offers a wide range of programmes, including special mud applications, different massages (manual, underwater and vibro), inhalations, herbal baths, physiotherapy and other special treatments.

Regatta Hotel
The Hotel Regatta is a comfortable hotel set in well-maintained gardens. The kidney-shaped pool is surrounded by sunbeds and the first-floor bar is the perfect spot for a relaxing drink. It lies about two kilometres from the centre of Sunny Beach, so is not necessarily suitable for the less mobile.

Regina Hotel
Situated next door to the hotel Yassen, the Regina has been renovated for summer 2004. This hotel will be familiar to the regular holidaymakers as previously it was a part of the Yassen complex. The hotel offers a wide range of local entertainment and a good range of facilities, which together with its central location makes it a very good choice of accommodation.

The Rila and Vitosha hotels are situated next to each other, just a few meters away from the beach. There have perfect location and nice swimming pool. Guestrooms are comfortable and some of them feature sea-views or overlook the Old Town of Nessebar.
