Holiday Watchdog: St George South Reviews
35km to the South of the airport lies St George South, a family-orientated resort with two good beaches. St George South is a resort popular amongst people travelling with children as there is little traffic and un-crowded, wide, sandy beaches mean safe swimming. There are basic shops and amenities and a few tavernas, but for anyone wanting nightlife Kavos is the nearest hot spot. Island tours and boat trips to Paxos island are available, and buses run daily to both Corfu Town and Kavos. Watersports including paragliding and snorkelling are available on the beach. |
