Son Bou has the largest and some say best beach on the island of Menorca, and consists of mostly modern accommodatio and a number of large, private villas. This is a mid-market resort suited to beach lovers and those wanting a relaxing seaside break. There are fast food restaurants outlets and a handful of budget restaurants serving international cuisine along the sea front, and two commercial centres offering supermarkets, a medical centre and a couple of cafes and bars. Transfer time from Mahon airport is approximately 20-25 minutes.
