This accommodation is NOT suitable for guests with disabilities. All rooms and facilities must be accessed by stairs.

A good choice for couples, families and young people in high season. Southeastern Cephalonia is one of our favourite corners of the island and its sweeping sandy beaches are surprisingly largely undiscovered by the tourist hordes. Sandy Kaminia Beach is a WWF-protected breeding ground for the loggerhead turtle, otherwise known as Caretta caretta, which this new group of apartments has been named after. Guests staying at Caretta's Nest will appreciate the seclusion of this spot just as much as the loggerheads do and the comfortable apartments lie only a turtle's crawl away from the sea.
On a side road, in a quieter area of Scala, the Dionysios is set in its own gardens about a 5 minute stroll from the heart of the resort and slightly further from the beautiful sand and shingle beach. It consists of simply furnished double or twin bedded studios for 2 people one being of an older style separate to the main block, and a double bed apartment for 4. Safety deposit boxes and air conditioning are available payable locally. All with private shower wc, kitchenette, balcony or shared patio.
You are sure to enjoy the cosy atmosphere and efficient service here, an English breakfast can be laid on for you (for an extra charge). The hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient, with the beach, restaurants and shops all 150m away.
Despite being a popular resort, Skala has retained the true essence of a typical Greek village. There is a small high street with a selection of shops selling Greek art, ceramic ware, pottery and jewellery. Skala's lovely long beach is worth visiting and you can try your hand at watersports in the summer (June -September). There are plenty of restaurants to be found. Skala's nightlife varies from a traditional taverna, where you can drink ouzo with a local fisherman, to a lively music bar where you can dance the night away!

Scala beach is a 10 minute downhill walk, with a taverna and a supermarket within 5 minutes. It consists of double bedded studios for up to 3 people, all with air conditioning and safety deposit boxes both payable locally. Due to the elevated position and steep access this property is not suitable for those with walking difficulties. Guests have use of a swimming pool nearby. All with private shower or bath wc, kitchenette, telephone, balcony or shared patio, use of nearby pool.
