- have a drink in the piazza of Ortiga and explore the surrounding beaches (of which there are many) MSparks99
- go to Fontaine Blanche beach, 12 kilometres from Syracuse - a lovely sand beach with a snack bar with a wood burning pizza oven! LilyAylmer
