- you use the train to Barcelona for shopping and sight seeing. And Girona. Trains are so cheap and well kept. Spend time on the beaches they are fantas Wendy39
- Go on the land train to old Santa Susana and Malgrat, enjoy the Tuesday market, take loads of water, it gets hot and relax on the beach with a Baileys leeboyhull
- If you want to experience Catalan food at its best. N11 in direction Barcelona, after 2kms Mas Pi restaurant fabulous. TimCBR
- Make the effort to leave the hotel, I know it's all inclusive but you are allowed to go out to enjoy local restaurants and bars so take some euros ScootsBirmingham
- don't like nightlife and loud music. This place is for seniors and disabled people mostly, for familyes-maybe. Gulnar01
- The village Santa Susanna itself is very very small so don't expect much night life. a fellow traveller
- Santa susanna is a bit more up market than other resorts on costa brava Woodie
- Take an evening walk along the walkway in front of the hotels and sample the reasonably priced local art and produce at the evening market. Pindsay
- Its a break, the weather is lovely so try and explore the entire area. Don't bother with the market, usual old tat (my watch lasted all of 48 hours) tyblonde
