The nearest ski lifts are 900 metres away. The resort centre is just over ½ a mile from the property and there is a regular ski bus that stops close to the hotel. This traditional Austrian style hotel is set back from the main road and the nearest shops are just a 2 minute walk away. Both villages are virtually traffic free and have plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
The Sporthotel is excellently located in the pedestrian area of the resort centre and close to the ski lifts and slopes. This large, impressive hotel offers its guests superb evening entertainment and an excellent range of leisure facilities.
The recently refurbished Hotel Central provides a comfortable, good value base in the centre of Saalbach. Its convenient location means ski school is just a few minutes walk away, the Schattberg Express gondola 200m away and the ski stop just 50m away. The small, informal Hotel Enzian is run by its British owners Kevin and Sarah and has a great location just above the bottom Schattberg gondola station.
