Being the largest of the Dodecanese Islands, Rhodes has many resorts to choose from including clubbing hotspots such as Faliraki and Rhodes town to the more laid back peaceful resorts of Lindos, Kolymbia and Pefkos. For the history buff there is plenty to see with the island being famous for having one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Colossus of Rhodes. The medieval old town of the city of Rhodes has also been declared a World Heritage site.

Flights arrive at Diagoras International Airport which is around 10 miles south-west of Rhodes City.
