- Stay near the beach and marina as the town is saddly lacking in all departments Jan065
- Eat at the Magnolia below Nelson Crescent - excellent Italian food and wine. Eat at the Old Customs House good food and excellent value for money. ween_10
- vist all the surrounding villages too, they are extremely pretty. Captain Digby's in Westgate serves good food and is very child friendly. Saffiah2007
- visit Shell Grotto in Margate, Visit Broadstairs town centre for pubs and restaurant, visit westwood cross shopping centre at Broadstairs. tom_hungston
- Visit Broadstairs...very quaint with super little crafty shops. You need stamina though for the climb up from the beach! (Use the Loop bus service.) mzblogg1
