- check out some of the beaches outside of town. Worth the trip. jaybird22
- hit the boardwalk, thats where downtown is and is quite lovely, restaurants, nightclubs, sand art, beach sculptures... funSUNbabe

- when staying at this hotel take the time to go to the flea market nearby next to the Cruise terminal when ships are not there. Better prices by half. notboring
- Visit downtown, the Malecon and Zona Romantica, shop, eat and just walk around! It is a lovely place. RPI-Guy
- Avoid renting a car .. taxis and buses are plentiful. Avoid the HOT WET summer months .. I heard from many that they are somewhat miserable. :) John94404
