- wear sandals on the beach the sand gets very very hot LiverpoolDelie
- The hotel is actually in Playa la Arena, near Puerto de Santiago. Not the best place for a little bit of retail therapy or beach. Address misleading. ElaineJ_7

- dont want much atmosphere, nightlife or shopping. I'd reccommend a car unless you're happy to spend the whole hotel lounging around in the sun. sirdave79
- Do the Dolphin trip. Book in Los Gigantes harbour, two shops next to each other; we got best deal from the furthest away from the harbour KBridger
- Nice, fairly unspoilt spanish fishing town with good areas adjacent for beach, eating out, shopping a fellow traveller
