Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria's is the island's largest holiday resort, the second largest resort of its kind in Europe in fact (after Benidorm). It's a place to get lost in, an ideal resort for you if you're travelling with a group of friends perhaps, or a couple looking for plenty of action by night after days lazing on the beach or by the pool. During the summer holiday period of July and August it's very much the ideal place for "young fun" or "18-30" style holidays. Known for its beach and nightlife, it proves ideal for the younger crowd during the summer. For the rest of the year it proves popular with everyone, all ages and all nationalities. The mix of people is mainly made up of German and English but the mix of Scandinavian, Dutch and other European nationalities is very much present too.
Unlike Puerto Rico, there's no mountains to conquer in Playa del Ingles. Very much built on one level with major bus routes passing through town, it's an easy place to get around. Maybe the hardest journey you'll have to make is from your apartment or hotel to the beach. The bus or cab only goes so far and from there, a large part of the resort is a one mile walk from the sea. Doesn't sound too bad?, well it's across sand dunes. Obviously, choose your footwear wisely before you set off on what's more of a daily pilgrimage for hundreds of people staying in Playa. Hundreds go the longer way round, walking down to the nearest part of beach and then along the seafront until they've found their favourite spot.

These ideally situated studios and apartments offer great value for money and are popular with the young and lively crowd, therefore we wouldn't recommend them for families with young children or older couples. About 500m to the Aguila Roja and just over 1km to the Kasbah Commercial Centre. There's a small beach nearby and the entrance to the main beach is just over 1km away.

Corona Verde Apartments
The Apartamentos Corona Verde apartments have one bedroom for capacity 3 people, sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace. The apartment complex also offers a nice garden with swimming pool for adults and children, television room with satellite, safe at reception and internet access.

The Danubio Apartments are located in the centre of Playa Del Ingles nightlife; the beach is just 450 metres away and bars, clubs and restaurants are situated directly outside the complex.

Dolores Apartments
The Dolores Apartments are in Playa Del Ingles, a large bustling resort stretching along the south east coast with miles of wide sandy beaches. The complex is only 50 metres from the beach, where there is a selection of water sports on offer, as well as being only a short walk to the resort centre and shopping centres. The Apartments also have a garden, swimming pool with plenty of sun bathing area.

Based in the heart of Playa del Ingles, the Don Diego apts are only a short walk away from all the needed amenities tucked away behind the famous Kasbah Commercial centre. These basic but clean apartments are an ideal base for those who want to party all night or laze the day away by the pool or the beach which is a short stroll away.

A pleasant complex in a nice relaxing situation in the resort, Doncel apartments are a good choice for unwinding, yet are within easy access of all the amenities. Situated close to Yumbo shopping centre and right beside Prisma shopping centre. The complex is approx. 1 klm. from the sandy beach there are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Hotel provides very comfortable stays in the nicely equipped rooms, which are equipped with private bathroom, direct dial telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV, hair dryer, balcony and mini bar.

El Rondo Hotel
Comprising a total of 98 studios/ apartments, this 5 storey aparthotel was renovated in 1999 and offers use of various facilities including a foyer with a reception desk, lifts and a bar. There is also a hairdresser's salon, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area, a public Internet terminal (additional fee applies) and a playground for younger guests.
