- don't want to be surrounded by English holiday-makers, or to watch football in bars, or shop in cheap shops, as Playa D'Aro is not this type of resort Sue006

- visit Barcelona.....Its a lovely city only an hour away and the bus stop is very close. - by Vf1983
- Walk along the coast to Palamos. - by carolseameads
- Visit Castell D'Aro it has a lovely castle and church which have been restored. The entrance is free but check the opening times. Buses run regularly. - by tangeman
