- visit the panarama resturant up the mountain with great views and food janice-gordon
- Visit the oldest Restaurant in Mayrofen. Wirtshaus zum Griena. Austrian food is freshly cooked and the owners are welcoming and speaks good English. Iain_G_C
- This is a ski/winter sports village. And there's not much of a nightlife. However, we did fine really good food and enjoyed music a couple nights. dleune
- Enjoy the apres ski bars and nightlife. If not travelling as package deal, get the train from Innsbruck to Mayrhofen via Jenbach 11 euros only 1.5hrs Fancyacuppatea
- get a beer and a hot meat roll from the shop opposite the Penken lift. Delicious and great value! Pauldulieu
- visit the Kostner Coffee Shop, great cakes, strudels, ice cream and of couse coffee. Have blankets for when its cold but is also a suntrap when sunny theandrews031
