Occupying one of the most beautiful locations on the island, 'Discovery at Marigot Bay' is St Lucia's newest and most inspiring luxury waterfront resort. Affiliated to the 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World' group, Discovery has been designed by award-winning international architects and built with local and natural materials. It has 67 luxury rooms and 57 suites (30 with private plunge pools). All bedrooms have large balconies, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, hardwood floors, cable TV, music systems, Internet access, telephone, ironing board and hairdryer. Arriving here is exciting, as you have to take a little water taxi across this gorgeous bay. The rooms are dotted over the hillside, and all have views of the sea (please note that there are lots of steps). It's a laid-back, relaxing place where sunset cocktails (there are some amazing sunsets here) are a convivial daily ritual. It has 25 apartments in single-storey clusters. The studios all have balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, TV, CD player, tea/coffee maker, kitchenette, safe and hairdryer. Rooms with 2 twin beds or 1 double. The deluxe studios have 4-poster beds, sleeping max 2 adults and 1 child.
