Self-catering apartments & studios sharing a lovely little pool. Swimming pools are something of a rarity in Croatia so we were delighted to discover that the owners of the Hotel Villa Vilina had built just seven apartments and studios along with a small freshwater pool on land behind the hotel. A breeze ruffles the branches of the olive trees and there is little else to disturb the peace here above the village.
A traditional house less than 100m from the sea with an enclosed garden. A quiet alley leads from Lopud's bay to this traditional stone house, which takes the surname of owner Stjepo. The Adriatic coastline provides extremely fertile waters for diving with countless shipwrecks lying on the seabed, and Stjepo spent forty odd years discovering the treasures beneath the surface around Peljesac, Sipan and Mljet.
The apartment Gaby is surrounded by nature, in a beautiful sea landscape, on the Lopud island, about 9 km from the city of Dubrovnik. The structure is in a very strategic position, close to the most beautiful beaches of the island. The apartments are suitable for families and groups of friends.
Mala Kuca - a 'small house' simply furnished &just a 3-minute walk from Lopud's narrow crescent of sandy beach. Mala Kuca means 'little house' so it would come as no surprise to find that this abode is not the most spacious holiday retreat. However, as it is located just three-minute's walk away from the sheltered little bay at Lopud with its arc of cafés and restaurants set just behind the slim sweep of sandy beach, the cosiness of the house hardly matters.
