Casa Lourido Villa
Located in Lires itself, the Casa Lourido is a converted family house. The Costa da Morte - the Coast of Death - is so named on account of its ruggedness and relentless rocks, interspersed with lighthouses to guide ships along this sometime treacherous stretch of Atlantic coastline. The fishing hamlet of Muxía is known as the holy city of the Costa da Morte with its church decorated with dangling ship-shaped votives. Situated between Muxía and Finisterre, Lires is a small picturesque village between the rivers Castro and Lires.
