Michel de la Derriere wanted to build a dream alpine lodge and was willing to go to considerable lengths to achieve his goal. He dismantled a 1927 Russian farmhouse from Petrovitz (some of the wood still bears the scars of the 1941 German occupation) and rebuilt it with a team of Russian craftsmen in the pine forests above La Tania. After years of planning and much sweat and tears, the results are clear for all to see.
Comprising the Britania and Le Grand Bois apartments, the modern, well maintained Le Grande Foret is ideal for skiers of all ages. The shops, bars and restaurants of La Tania are just moments away and there's easy access to the local pistes.
Chalet Mouflon is located in a central position in La Tania, only 50m from the main lifts and 100m from ski schools and nursery slopes. This chalet (interconnecting with Chalet Chardon) is great for families and larger groups.
Chalet Mongellaz is a rustic style and comfortable chalet for those who like to feel pampered on holiday! The chalet has been decorated very tastefully. The large balcony off the living room is a terrific location to enjoy the beautiful views over the valley whilst enjoying a post piste beer!
Ideally situated in the heart of La Tania, Hotel Le Montana is a comfortable and stylish hotel. Guests are able to ski in and out so access to the pistes could not be easier.
This is an attractive chalet, built in traditional Alpine style, and situated just above the centre of La Tania in a wooded hamlet. South-east facing, the chalet has an open fireplace, and is ideal for groups of up to 15. Just 200 metres from the resort centre, and 300 metres from the piste.
Chalet Chamois was custom-built for Crystal holidays and is a spacious chalet, nestling in the pine trees above the resort of La Tania. It offers high quality accommodation in a peaceful location with virtual doorstep skiing for intermediate skiers.
The Chalet Jennifer is a lovely chalet that combines traditional style with beautiful, pine interiors and the additional benefit of private facilities in every bedroom. It is located close to the piste in the wooded area just above La Tania and is 5-6 minutes' walk to the resort centre.
Well situated in a quiet location below the main road which runs through La Tania, this chalet is a traditionally built wood and stone chalet with an appealing charm. The resort centre is approximately 200m away and the nearest lift is also a 200m walk. The chalet has a comfortable lounge with satellite TV and log fire for those relaxing evenings after a hard day on the slopes. In our opinion this is a comfortable chalet in a good location enabling easy access to The 3 Valleys ski area.
