Beach
- Take a day off from the parks and go to the beach in St Petersburg. 1 1/2 hour drive and absolutley worth it. BabsMN

- When your there make sure you go to all the restaurants and try out there steak houses and eat lots and lots and let yourself go samuelanthem
- go to Joe's crab shack. One of the few restaurants that is not a chain, it is great food/atmosphere at a very reasonable price. Great for kids. melandpat
- Hit the outlet mall! Visit downtown for the nightlife but be prepared to walk a lot! lupechick65
- You go there just to stay at a hotel because of it's convenience to Disney and the parks, no nightlife and no upscale restaurants. thp1975
- hire a car as nothing is within walking distance. Take plenty of cash if you love shopping,you can pick up some great bargains. Samina76
