Kavos has a wonderful beach which slopes gently into the clear blue sea which is quite shallow and safe for family fun. There is a variety of watersports on offer or you can just laze back and soak up the sun! Shopping here is probably adequate for most, the alternative is a trip to the Capital Corfu Town. There is a good variety of bars and discos providing the evening entertainment other than that on offer in the hotels. Just a short distance along the coast is the smaller and more peaceful resort of St.Petros.
