The apartments are within walking distance of tavernas and the beach. Car hire is recommended in order to make the most of this beautiful island. A torch will be required for returning at night. It is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Opposite Katelios Beach, these studios are in an excellent location for sun worshippers. Just cross the road separating the Hercules from the sea and indulge in an early morning dip. The popular fresh fish tavernas are on either side and there's a handy bar below for a last minute nightcap.

Irini Apartments
Irini is basic Greek accommodation run by Irene herself and is a great base for a holiday in a traditional fishing village with easy access to all resort facilities. The peaceful atmosphere of the resort attracts couples wanting to escape the bustle of busier resorts, while walkers and bird spotters flock here. Even though the resort of Katelios is level, due to the amount of steps required to reach the unit it may not be suitable for the less mobile.

This stretches to a charming sandy beach and the convivial fishing village itself. This splendid location has been chosen for Katelios Bayview House, set back from the main track leading up to a series of villas, of which the one we have selected is the most secluded, hidden away on an elevated position to take advantage of the stunning views.

Katelios Studios
Situated on the outskirts of the sleepy fishing village of Katelios, the Katelios Studios offer a good standard of accommodation in a quiet location. The friendly owners will tempt you to a refreshing drink and chat under the shade of the pool bar. The village centre is a 20 minute walk away where there is a small beach and traditional fish tavernas all overlooking the harbour. The sandy beaches of Kaminia and Mounda are approximately a 45 minute walk away.

Lighthouse Apartments
A secluded, rural location with great views over the countryside and a distinctively Greek atmosphere. There are shops, cafés and restaurants within 500m walk, and the beach is a little further at 600m away. The beach offers sun loungers and umbrellas and there are several tavernas lining the edge of the coast. The property is situated up a quiet, unlit country path so we recommend taking a torch for those evening returns.

Within one kilometre is Katelios village centre with its own beach and a choice of tavernas overlooking the harbour. The turtle beach of Mounda is a twenty five minute walk away.

Fantastic location for beach lovers, just opposite Katelios Beach, with great views of the sea and the surrounding mountainous countryside. The accommodation is set above a taverna, centrally located with a selection of bars, tavernas and shops a couple of minutes away (200-260m). There is also a selection of pools available for you to enjoy in the village, just purchase a drink from the snack bar.

Situated in a tiny fishing village on the south east corner of Kefalonia the Mythos Studios and Apartments offer a good standard of accommodation with friendly owners. The Mythos also boasts a recently refurbished pool terrace plus Sky TV and games facilities. Katelios offers a number of fish tavernas and has a small sand/shingle beach which leads on to the turtle beach of Mounda, approximately a thirty-five minute walk away.
