Beach
- Eat out in some of the local family run Greek restaurants and go into the town for coctails on the beach, the sea is beautiful snorkelling is fun too! emaloveslucylou
- take the opportunity of getting out and about, visiting nearby islands or hiring a car and explore the fantastic sites and beaches around the island. christinefromkos
- try lots of the lovely restaurants both on the harbour front and in the back streets-also some nice ones on the outskirts if willing to walk 5mins. kevgiggs
- Take the boat in Kos port its a 3 island cruise with lunch and staff was AMAZING the boat is called 'Poseidon' NewlyWeds1112011
- kardemena is a very "lively" resort popular for the twenty somthings or in my case the 40 somthings plenty of nightlife. gordy07973
- Karamena itself very touristy lots of bars and nightlife. Kos Town brilliant for sightseeing but go yourself, good bus service. Kittycat_supreme
- Shop around for trips,cars, go from Kardamena to Nisyros grumble13
- Have something else to do apart from shopping. O.K. for cheap shops and inns but not much else. PaulnMargaret
