Sea-facing apartments in a delightful residential area, a short coastal stroll from Hvar Town. The lovely sea views and peaceful location in the laid-back residential area in which Andrea's Apartments are to be found to the west of Hvar Town has not just attracted the attention of Simply Croatia, but also that of the President of the Republic who keeps his own summer house here.
A private, comfortable villa in cosmopolitan Hvar Town. Hvar town's beautiful combination of pedestrianised medieval streets, a promenade between rocky beaches, stylish, lavishly-ornamented buildings and the calm harbour waters have created a chic resort which attracts Croatians and well-heeled international holidaymakers docking their yachts.
A comfortable retreat, far from the bustle of town. This friendly guesthouse occupies an enviable position on the coast, remarkably tranquil in light of the fact that the centre of Hvar town is just a 15-minute walk along the beach, to the east. On finding this delightful setting on the dramatic, rocky coastline embellished with vivid blooms and foliage, we were very pleased to find a comfortable second-floor apartment in Margita's house which boasts truly lovely views.
Whether you are in to history, architecture, culture, style, fine dining or a St Tropez-style night out, Hvar Town is almost unbeatable. A chic island renowned for the colour and smell of the rich purple lavender that carpets the floor in spring and early summer. Hvar itself is a cosmopolitan town overlooked by a Venetian castle and built in honey cloured stone around a natural harbour. Narrow cobbled streets and historic buildings including a perfect centuries old theatre will mean endless days of discovery here.
Villa Perka is a family stone house surrounded by pine woods, olive groves and flower gardens. Its interior was fully renovated in 2007.
From its slightly elevated position, 200 m from the sea it commands superb, relaxing views of the islands and the endless blue sea that surrounds them. Behind, the house is sheltered by the St.Nikola's – the highest peak of the island.
