Located in the north-east of Africa, Egypt is an Arab Republic which lies between Libya to the west and the Red Sea to the east.

Holidays to Egypt can take many different forms depending on what travellers wish to experience. Luxor and Giza provide numerous sightseeing opportunities around their ancient ruins whereas the resorts dotted along the south Sinai Peninsula, such as Sharm El Sheikh, offer some of the best diving spots in the world. Egyptian weather is as would be expected of a desert climate, very hot and very dry with temperatures typically reaching the high 30s. However, as the winter months are very mild it is an ideal place to visit between November and April.
