Dassia lies on the East coast of Corfu around 13km from the airport. The resort is twinned with Ipsos which lies a mile to the North. Most accommodation in Dassia lies on roads leading towards the beach, and unusually for Corfu the resort features a number of large hotels. The narrow, gently sloping shingle and pebble beach is great for watersports including water ski-ing, banana-boating and parasending. Eating out is no problem as there are many inexpensive beach bars and cafes. Dassia is popular with holiday-makers of all ages, especially young groups and couples under 35.
