Costa Blanca, or 'White Coast' in its English translation, denotes the long stretch of Mediterranean coastline that runs down the east coast of Spain and includes the well known resorts of Benidorm and Alicante. The area draws millions of tourists each year and is a favourite holiday spot for British and German tourists.

Popular with families looking for safe waters and white sandy beaches, many of which have won the European Blue Flag award for cleanliness, it also offers a variety of water sports for those looking for an activity filled holiday. The younger crowds are also drawn to the Costa Blanca in search of the wild night life that both Alicante and Benidorm have on offer as well as the Terramitica theme park, one of Spain's most visited tourist attractions.
