- Realise that the Amara Beach hotel is not acutally in Colakli but in Gundogdu! jijwhite
- Check out the nearby town of Side. Great archaeology, shopping and restaurants, but always ask prices at restaurants if the waiters offer 'a special' Londonergoesthere
- take the Dolmus or a taxi to Side and the archaelogical sites and harbour. It's also worth asking your taxi driver to take you to a local restaurant! ItchyFeet82
- Take a trip to Side, Perge and Aspendos is you like history. Excellent Roman ruins. Side is a gorgeusly quaint shopping area, worth a visit. busyfeetz
- visit the Colakli area shopping centers and walk along the superb and magnificent beach. I wish Side to be like Pattaya but we are in muslim country. Abdullahozcan
