- you visit chester zoo, and get there at 10 when they open, and go up to the upper shops in the old town part, and visit the st john the baptist church annominous
- Visit the Museum - it's free and also a great place to shelter from the rain. Also check out the River Dee cruises as they don't always run. TravellingTrippers
- Walk the walls, then go to the cathedral for a coffee. Drink outside at The Boathouse if weather is nice. If not go to The Brewers Tap for real ale NiiloAZ
