Travellers' top tips for Capri
Beach
- Take a boat trip around the island. I would not reccomend the blue grotto, cost too much. lay on the beach, but take water socks kmcWaco
- Go to the wonderful beaches on the island, and the romantic walks appleloverFlorida
- wear very comfortable shoes - lots of walking - steep hills. can be very casual, very expensive, but look for great local restaurants for less yvonnemouse
- Eat at Restaurant Da Giorgrio...it was so good we ate there 2x Must do - go up to Anacapri for the day and take the ride up to the top of Mont Solari sarbek
- If you want nightlife stay in Capri town, if you want to get away stay in Anacapri. Both are close enough that you can move about easily. BSha246
- Understand that there are no beaches. Just a beautiful island. Bring books, relax and enjoy the nightlife. Michael120

- visit Villa Jovis and Mount Solaro (in Anacapri). We would have liked to have seen the Blue Grotto, but weather didn't comply. hikerchick10
- Visit early or late in the season. There are almost always some crowds, but they are worst in summer and with the warm weather the crowds wear thin. BobbieMac421
