- Use John's tours for your trips. Try the Curry House on Beach Rd. The Spice plantation is a must do trip. eileen24
- use Mr Naik the taxi driver and go to Bono's Shack, perfectly clean and hygeinic and the best food. Iced coffe is the best in Goa! wendyandsophie
- walk down the "Beach Road". Much quieter than the main drag, but still lined with shops, bars and restuarants. TriuumphNed
- enjoy night life and wine. Roship
- Candolim is a lot quieter than Calangute or Baga, but thankfully so. There is no great nightlife as such but a few bars and some lovely restaurants. JerseyJetSet
- Try and visit during November-March when most shops restaurants are open. madrasiqueen
- Go to Claudinas shack in the day and fishermens cove in the evening. Bags and jewellery shops really good too. WIDEWORLD_8
