Cala Ratjada and it's close neighbour Cala Mesquida are particularity popular with families who come for the good quality low cost self catering accommodation, like the Iberostar Carolina Park. Although Cala Ratjada also features some excellent 4 & 5 Star Hotels. Cala Ratjada it's self is both Lively and inexpensive and caters for all tastes. You will find 5 superb beaches surrounding the resort all with 'Water Haven Centres' for safe bathing. There are also several mini bays for the those prefer a quieter bit of sun worshipping. Alternatively a short trip to Cala Mesquida and you may find it even quieter.
You may also undertake sailing from Cala Ratjada's beaches. There are regular courses run for beginners.
One of the highlights of Cala Ratjada is the Minitrain that connects the two beautiful sand beaches Cala Angulla and Son Moll. You are able to follow the trains route should you wish to walk. This will take you approximately 10 -20 minutes. |
