The three-bedroom apartment is set at the front of the house so as not be overlooked. El Roble is set on three storeys, with wooden beamed ceilings and floors to keep the rooms cool in summer and an open fire for heating in the cooler months. There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor and a twin on the floor above along with a separate bathroom and the open living-dining kitchenette with balcony .The upper floor comprises the master double room with en suite bathroom and balcony providing spectacular views over the mountains.

El Tejo Apartment
The charming and hospitable owners Conchi and José Antonio can offer advice on trekking, horse-riding and other numerous pursuits in the surrounding area. A ride up the cable car at Fuente Dé is a must for visitors to the area or a visit to the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liebana. The monastery itself is only opened whenever the 16 April falls on a Sunday - next due in 2006! For those more energetically inclined, a visit to the famous Cares Gorge - a 12km-long walk along well-maintained tracks is truly spectacular. If you prefer long stretches of sand the beaches of Unquera at San Vicente de la Barquera are just 40km away.
