Biggin Hall Country House Hotel

Biggin Hall stands in its own spacious grounds of eight acres and is a protected building of historic interest, Grade II * listed. The present owners have completely renovated it, in keeping with its original character.
Many of the stone mullioned leaded windows have only recently seen daylight again after their obliteration during the window taxes of the 1790's.

The Master Suite
The rooms are spacious and individually furnished. In addition to the 'Master Suite' a luxurious four poster bedded room, there are six double / twin bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms en suite, and two single rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom. All have a colour T.V and tea making facilities.
Visitors have a choice of two sitting rooms, one with a library, the other with a large open fire place and there is a separate dining room.
There is a public 'phone box (Hartington 84547) exclusively for the use of guests.

The Portland Hotel is situated on the A53 from Leek and Macclesfield, near to the Town Centre of Buxton, 100 yards from Buxtons famous Opera House, overlooking the picturesque Pavillion Gardens.
