Pulteney Hotel
The Pulteney hotel is a large, elegant Victorian house set in its own picturesque south facing gardens, with fine views of Bath Abbey. There are seventeen rooms in all with en suite facilities. All have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and all are centrally heated and tastefully decorated to a very high standard.

This decidedly Georgian looking hotel was, in fact, built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel the famous English architect of the time for the arrival of the railway in Victorian times and the "Royal" prefix was given as a reminder of Queen Victoria¹s visit to the City of Bath. The Royal commenced trading in 1846.
