Aghios Gordios is on the west coast of the island, near to Corfu Town. It nestles at the foot of a dramatic range of coastal hills covered in tall, elegant pine trees. Its bay sweeps gently between two large headlands and boasts a sand and pebble beach. Swimming in its clear, warm waters will wash away any stresses and strains. The resort itself is funded in a rural community where traditional industries - such as fishing and farming - still play a huge part in everyday life. Aghios Gordios is a true gem with a true Greek atmosphere.

Beach, bars, tavernas and shops are within four minutes walk (60-400m), or use the pool at the Sea Breeze Family Hotel, 253m away. Villa Ava is situated off the main road via a track, so a torch is suggested for late returns.

In the centre of Aghios Gordios, 25 metres from the main road behind a bar, the Katerina Apartments are about 5 minutes walk from the beach and even closer to the tavernas and supermarkets.

Basic but comfortable studios have twin or double beds, private bathroom with wc and shower and kitchenette with two cooking rings, kettle, fridge and mini oven. Two bedroom apartments are similar. All have balcony or terrace and air conditioning

The Marietta is in a peaceful location amongst vineyards and citrus trees. With the nearest bars, shops and tavernas only two minutes stroll (150-330m) and the beach less than four minutes away (270m), Marietta offers a relaxing place to stay with everything close by.

Opposite the Marina Studios, a few minutes walk from the resort centre with the long sandy beach less than a 10 minute walk away, this good standard accommodation is up a steep hill, and maybe unsuitable for those with walking difficulties.

A quietly situated accommodation in its own grounds just 10 minutes stroll from the beach and close to a supermarket and taverna. The 150 metres approach track through the olive trees is unlit, so a torch is useful for late night returns.

One is the taverna run by two brothers (where regular Greek and BBQ nights are held). The taverna boasts a terrace with fantastic views of the beach and the bay beyond, the perfect place to unwind. Some studios are located above the taverna and the remaining rooms are in an annexe, behind the taverna.
