A gorgeous villa in a beautiful location. Very quiet with fantastic views over to Zakynthos. Very private villa, the closest villa is next door but set further back so you don't even remember its there.
The pool is huge and has lovely lighting for romantic nights. The villa itself is extremely well equipped with hair-dryers in every room, towels, sheets (changed by maid but a cupboard full if you wish to do it yourself), very luxurious bedding and wonderfully comfortable beds.
The kitchen is equipped with every gadget and gismo you could need and there are also board games and a good selection of books to read. There is a huge barbecue with a very pretty little area around it. Gardens are still maturing but already beautiful with tiny lemon trees and some beautiful fragrant plants. Sun loungers are fab too.
We are going back to this villa in September and are looking to book it for next summer again. We love Kefalonia and found this a perfect location to tour around particularly the southern part of the island and around the capital area. Car hire was included in price and when compared to hotels for two adults and 2 children plus flights and car hire it is definately well worth the little extra for the privacy and luxury of this villa.
There is a new taverna just opened a short walk away which we are going to be trying out. You would need a car here unless you are very fit and energetic - its a very steep walk from the beach and on to the bakery. In October weather is good but not a lot of places are open - however you don't have to go far to find somewhere that is - another reason why a car is a must out of high season.
Rep is lovely, very low key, lets you get on with it pretty much, but gives a lot of useful information and even gave us all a mini Greek lesson when she visited us. We know she was there if we needed her and we liked it that she just let us have the peace and privacy we craved - and got! Fantastic villa, beautiful island, highly recommended.
