Lourdas beach villa is about as perfect as accommodation can be. It is extremely well-equipped with everything you could possibly want, even beach towels! The pool is well looked after and a decent size. The cleaners come twice a week and change all towels and bedding.
The location is ideal, about 100yards from the massive but quiet beach and close to about a half dozen good tavernas. The resort is low key and quiet so if you want music, clubs or noise of any sort then go somewhere else (please!).
From picking up the car at the airport, through every aspect of the holiday, to being kept informed at the airport when departing, Thomson made this a wonderful holiday. Our rep, Nicole, was the best we've encountered anywhere. Temp 30deg at the start of the holiday and 39deg by the end of the week!
If you want a quiet holiday in total luxury and beautiful surroundings, then look no further.

Huge,well equipped villa with all you need for home from home.Very peaceful location but be prepared for the huge hill up to it from the seafront. Plenty of stamina needed!! We felt there should be a telephone in the villa for emergencies if only to contact the reception at the Ionian Sun. Views are wonderful & pool massive & well maintained. Cleaners & handyman very efficient. Neighbouring Blue Bay Villa shares same carpark but we didnt see anyone for the whole fortnight, so really secluded. Lourdas seafront boasts around 3 or 4 restaurants and a minimarket. Beach is long and sandy with lifeguard on duty at peak times. Ionian Sun Apartments at base of hill has reception/bar with Sky Sports though they do like to close at midnight & that includes switching the TV off in the middle of an important match!! However, the staff are friendly and helpful otherwise. The visitors book in the villa was a godsend for the hints and tips and worth a read. Cant really complain about anything as we had a fantastic time and would consider going back again in the next few years. Lynn & Alan.
