Kings Paradise Villa

Stayed at the resort in May this year as an RCI exchange.Unfortunately we got Unit 001 in K block which because of its first floor status had a poor view.Looking out onto the rear of the restaurant and being adjacent to the kids Pirate Club (This was closed at the time).Prospective visitors should aim for the top floor units which have expansive sea view. We stayed there for the first time in Oct 08. It's our first experience of holiday ownership and I've got to admit I was well impressed. The standard of the accomodation was excellent and very spacious. The pool area's were again excellent. Never used the resturant or taverna but had a few drinks down at the pool bar where the staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome as so in the reception. We had previously visited the resort twice before and had been very impressed. The apartments were great and we had found the resort lively and the staff fantastic. the restaurant staff and particulary the franchisee had give us excellent food and entertainment at a very reasonable price. This visit was a disappointment in quite a few ways. First there were real problems with the shower plumbing, flooding the bedrooms - not fixed until the day before we left. We have been to Paradise King's Club twice now and will go back. The apartments are very high standard and there are two pools. The full airconditioning means you can stay cool even in the height of summer! From the upper apartments there are beautiful views. You do need a car, but frankly, you do for most accommodation in Paphos other than those right in the centre. honest advice get a car ( we did not) buses stop at 18.30 dark by 16.30 and we walked and walked and the odd taxi the hill up to the apartments (not as bad as paradise club tenerife) but still a pig and in darkness .breakfast at the club is good and reasonable food at the tavern needs updating and lower prices ..beer was alright some nights but very week get a coffee much stronger. no live music at all best restaurant a brisk walk away nikkis we had 3 great meals there and also the beer was not... more

We stayed at the Paradise Kings Club for two weeks and the advertising photos only reflect the interior of the complex. There is not much outside the hotel which is perched on the side of a hill. You do need a car. We saw some people walking to the hotel from the shops etc and in temperatures of around 33C, they looked exhausted. Since Cyprus converted to the Euro, everything is expensive. We have just returned from pkc and to update anybody that is going out there this year. Phase 3 is not all finished yet they have 1,3bed appartment ready as a show appartment and we were told that they will have some of the appartments ready by week 30 as people were booked into them ...... best of luck... the pool has been tiled inside but around the top was still being finished off .When you get there you will be shown the appartments as part of the course , very nicely finished off but if the pool not done and dusted quite a walk down to... more

This was our 2nd visit to the resort, the first being in Sept '06 as our first 'introduction' to holiday ownership. We were interested to see how things had developed 2 years on, phase 3 is well underway but there is still a lot of work going on, however this does not in any way spoil the peace and quiet of the resort. We had our annual 2 week holiday at Paradise Kings Club Paphos in July 2007.We stayed in a 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Sleeping 6 Accomodation. The standard of fixtures and fitting was excellent and the apartment spacious. The swimming pool was first class and sunbeds were plentiful. The staff were always courteous and helpful and the food in the restaurant was well varied and always to a high standard. Last month,we stayed at the Paradise Kings Club in Paphos.Our stay was from the 9th to the 16th of September and Paphos has just about everything you could want in a holiday,great weather,good food and drink,history,culture and the most friendly locals to help you.My advice would be to hire a car,but do check,if you pre-book your car and arrive in the dark,like us,check the car for damage etc as the locals are very relaxed about this and i wouldnt want to see you lose your CDW deposit money.A trip to NICOSIA is worthwile as this city is... more
