This was our 2nd visit to the resort, the first being our introduction to holiday ownership in Sept 06. We were interested to see how the resort had developed since our last visit. Phase 3 is well underway but there is still a lot of work going on. This does not in any way affect the peace and quiet of the resort so don't be put off.
The apartments are absolutely fabulous, I don't go on holiday to cook meals but because we had our very young grand daughter with us (two and a half years old) it was easier to cook than eat out so we ate quite often and the kitchen appliances are suberb. The fridge/freezer is big enough for a large supermarket shop.
Apartments are kept spotless by the housekeeping staff with frequent changes of linen and all the staff are friendly.
The resturant meals are good quality although the menu is quite small and sometimes the service can be a little slow as they don't have many staff (this could be because it was very quiet when we were there) but this is ok if you don't like the 'cattle market' hotel buffets which we now find are like glorified canteeens !
If we have any critisisms at all it is that the mini market was shut on the check in day but we were told this is because they are busy with welcome packs (which we were offered but we didn't take because there were several items we wouldn't have used) and the shop is rather small with a limited range but ok for the basics. We opted for a 'big' shop at the large Papantoniou's supermarket in Kato Paphos.
Also we were a bit disappointed with our apartment because it was situated in B Block as our verandah was in shade virtually all day, unlike most of the others which enjoy full sun.
Because it was early in the season the resort was very quiet (a bit too quiet really as my grand daughter had no other children to play with) but we made good use of the indoor pool which is lovely.
There are plenty of eating places nearby, a 15 -20 minute walk to the bus stop and buses are fairly frequent and cheap.
All in all I would have no problem recommending this resort and we look forward to going back in September '09.
